Create quality web pages and link the web pages from one to one. This process is called Link Wheel.  Link wheel is one of the best quality link building strategies in search engine optimization. Web 2.0 sites have an important role while preparing link wheel.  Use quality content when create the separate web pages by using web 2.0 property sites. Link wheel type is classified as three. First one is closed Link wheel, second one is random link wheel and third one is horseshoe link wheel.


Closed Link Wheel
Closed link wheel means connect the all web pages from one to one. For example, we have four sites are A, B , C, D and E.For creating closed link wheel connect the sites from A to B to C to D to E to F to A.

Site A – Blogger
Site B – Wordpress
Site C – Tumblr
Site D – Squidoo
Site E – Hubpages
Site F – Typepad 


Horseshoe Link Wheel
Horseshoe link wheel means do not connect the last web page to first web page. For creating horseshoe link wheel connect the sites from A to B to C to D to E to F and leave it.



Random Link Wheel                         
Random link wheel means connect the all web pages randomly.  For creating the random link wheel connect the sites from B to E to C to D to A to F.



My opinion is choose closed link wheel option. It is better than other link wheel types.
